Repair when possible. Reuse when appropriate. Recycle when necessary.
our mission
It all starts with finding frames that truly deserve a second life. We select vintage or antique pieces for their quality of manufacture, their design, their character, and their potential for transformation. An interesting frame is recognized by the nobility of its materials, the solidity of its structure, the balance of its proportions, and the uniqueness of its style. We also pay particular attention to its general condition: some marks of time are acceptable, but the base must be sound, salvageable, and worthy of being put back into circulation.
Repairing means restoring each frame's integrity, function, and appearance. Each part is inspected, thoroughly cleaned, adjusted, and carefully restored. Depending on the needs, this may include polishing, straightening the frame, replacing certain parts, correcting minor defects, and restoring its structure. The goal is to return the frame to a just, clean, and durable state, respecting its original essence while ensuring comfort, strength, and quality.
To sublimate is to go beyond restoration. It is to reveal the full aesthetic potential of the frame and give it a new presence. Through the choice of lenses, tints, finishes, and final adjustments, each piece becomes a singular object, ready to be worn today. We seek to create a balance between heritage and modernity, between period character and contemporary appeal. To sublimate is to transform a beautiful rediscovered frame into a unique, desirable, and timeless piece.
